Arlene McFarlane is the USA Today bestselling author of the Valentine Beaumont comedy mystery series. She's won and placed in over 30 prestigious contests, including the Chanticleer International Mystery & Mayhem Book Awards, and a Voice Arts nomination for her audiobook, Murder, Curlers & Cream. She also enjoys traveling to writing conferences, workshops, and reader events. Before becoming a published author, Arlene's most important calling was in homeschooling her children. It was a rich and rewarding experience, and she loves to encourage others who are considering this path. Arlene lives with her family in Canada. Eden McFarlane holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Waterloo. She double majored in Honors French and Honors English with a specialization in Literature and Rhetoric. She completed her postgrad in French Studies. Eden has worked as a teaching assistant and a research assistant and has won multiple awards for her academic literary dissertations.
