Mark W. DeLancey, professor of government and international studies at the University of South Carolina, has spent extensive periods in Cameroon and taught at the University of Yaounde. Mark Dike DeLancey is a specialist in Cameroon art history. He is currently conducting research in Ngaoundere on Islamic influences on palace architecture in Northern Cameroon.
