Overview

Carregan Cordwainer and Corwyn Tinker are from a long line of healers and their magic gives their work an extra oomph. Sometimes dangerously so. Vampires have kidnapped Corwyn and it is up to Carregan to rescue her brother. The determined shoemaker sets off to face evil. Alone. Or so it begins. Along the way she meets an old friend, a fruit bat shape shifter who has taken up mercenary work as she searches for her family, torn from her by vampires years ago.
