The handbook contains over 200 images and illustrations, and covers a range of pulmonary conditions. It also discusses topics related to pulmonary disease, such as pregnancy, smoking, aviation and space travel, climate change and high altitude. The Chief Editor of this book, S K Jindal, was awarded the Outstanding Educator Award by the American Thoracic Society, in 2011.
