Geetika Datta is the Founding Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan College and Dean (Academics), of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi Kendra. She also has been the founding Principal of Bhavan’s Leelavati Munshi College of Education, New Delhi. She has a rich experience in Teacher Education and Higher Education, working with in-service and pre-service teachers and educators for approximately 20 years.  She is an alumna of Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi and Central Institute of Education (University of Delhi) and a gold medalist from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She is a post-graduate in Commerce, Psychology and Education with a PhD in Education. Her areas of interest are Educational Psychology, Inclusive Education, Contemplative Educational Practices, Learning, Instruction and Assessments, Curricular Issues and Business Education. Her academic pursuits include content writing and video lessons in collaboration with institutions like IGNOU, NIOS and MHRD Swayam Prabha and research publications in Journals and Books of national and international repute. She has conducted numerous in-service teacher education programmes with over 5000 in-service teachers, Vice-Principals and Principals. Recently she has been working in the field of Contemplative Educative practices.   Girishwar Misra, Ph.D. is an Honorary Professor, Faculty of Contemplative Studies and Behavioural Sciences, Sri Sri University, Odisha. He served as Professor of Psychology at the University of Delhi for two decades. He also served as Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Antar- Rashtriya Hindi Vishvavidyalaya, Wardha. Dr. Misra’s research is focused on social, developmental, health, and cultural psychology. He has published journal articles on these topics, many in top-tier peer-reviewed journals such as American Psychologist, International Journal of Psychology, Psychology and Developing Societies, and International Journal of Behavioural Development. He has served as the President of the National Academy of Psychology (NAOP), India, and edited the journal Psychological Studies (Springer) for 16 years. He was Fulbright Senior Scholar at Swarth- more College and Michigan University, Ann Arbor. He is a recipient of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Award by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, the National Fellowship of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, the Fellowship of the NAOP, India, the Fulbright Nehru Fellowship and S.C. Mitra Memorial Award by the Asiatic Society. His recent works include Psychosocial Interventions for Health and Well-Being (Springer, 2018) and Surveys and Explorations in Psychology (Oxford, 2019).   Shalini Gupta is presently working as HOD, B.Ed. Dept. at Bhavan’s Leelawati Munshi College of Education, New Delhi. She has been working in education for the past two decades. She has worked with schools such as PGT Biology in private and Government schools in Delhi. She has been teaching in colleges of education since 2005. She has worked on research projects with International and national organisations like UNICEF, NCERT, and TESS.She has done her post-graduation in Zoology and Education from the University of Delhi and her doctorate from Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. She has contributed research papers, articles and chapters in various national and international journals and books. She is an environmentalist and believes that change starts with oneself.
