OverviewCash Daltry is a talented artist: he writes and illustrates graphic novels and once played with a metal group called Tomb of Thebes. But something happens that puts his soul in peril and gives him nightmarish visions when he performs. He puts his double-neck guitar in the closet and refuses to play anymore. He won't speak of what happened to anyone--not even his girlfriend or his closest friend. But when Cash's father dies suddenly and his old band comes back into his life, Cash begins to suspect that his former bandmates are responsible for the disappearance of a number of teens in town. What he soon learns about his band, as well as his father, turns out to be infinitely worse. To free his father's soul and save his own, he has to pick up his guitar and engage in musical battle. Based on the Robert Johnson urban legend and incorporating graphic novel elements, this is a thoroughly original suspense novel for teens.
