Author Information

Dr. Jana Wittenzellner studied both Cultural Studies and Romance Studies in Bremen, Valencia, and Berlin. She then worked as a research assistant at Saarland University, where in 2016 she received her doctorate with a thesis on the Spanish sexual reform movement of the 1920s and 1930s. She worked in event management and public relations before joining the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin as a trainee in 2017. Since 2019, she has been curator for network and community at the Museum Eu-ropaischer Kulturen - Staatliche Museen zu Berlin (SPK). Goeran Gnaudschun studied Artistic Photography and Fine Arts at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts from 1994-2003 under Professor Timm Rautert. He received several scholarships and awards for his work, including the working scholarship of the Kunstfonds Bonn in 2013 and the Bran-denburg Art Prize in 2018. In 2016-17 he received a scholarship from the Deutsche Akademie Villa Massimo in Rome. Gnaudschun has been teaching at the Ostkreuz -schule fur Fotografrie in Berlin since 2018. Susanne Boersma studied both Cultural Studies and Theatre Studies at the University of Amsterdam and received an MA in Art Museum and Gallery Studies from the University of Leicester. Afterwards she worked as a curator in the UK and the Netherlands for two years. She has been a PhD student at the Museum Europaischer Kul-turen - Staatliche Museen zu Berlin since 2018, which is part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie EU H2020 'POEM' project at the University of Hamburg.
