Overview

Throughout a good portion of my life, poetry served as a constructive release of pent-up (mostly negative) emotion. This collection presents what I was able to save, find, and gather together from various experiences in my life that affected me deeply, along with some new additions at the end. Although a great deal of my poetry work has been lost for various reasons, I still wanted to share what remains with you, the reader. This is an attempt to not only relate and share deeply personal work that I'm fond of, but to also celebrate with you one soul's overdue departure from days filled with dread & despair, thematically arranged as an ascent from the darkest depths into the light.
