Reviews

If you love Sci-Fi/Fantasy this is going to be a wonderful journey of a read. I've spent most of my life entertaining myself. With the escape of video games, board games, and stylistic entertainment...With Conqueror's of K'Tara the enjoyment of world-building, adventuring, and all-around fantismal was blasted right back into my life. Immediately you thrown into a whole other universe. Not only does this book become an adventure for you, as a reader. But it becomes a newfound love as you're introduced to an escape, and another universe. Great world building and characters Forebodings...is the debut novel for author L. A. Di Paolo. By far its greatest strength is its world building. On the canvas of the story Di Paolo paints exotic flora and fauna uniquely adapted to life under K'Tara's dual suns; peoples both humanoid and non-humanoid...He paints rich, diverse and sometimes conflicting cultures; powers of good and evil battling one another in dimensions physical and metaphysical. K'tara is a world a reader can escape into, explore, become lost in. A complex and interesting world here with a powerful threat to overcome. I really enjoyed this book though I found it a bit hard to get into at first. The first half of the book is very densely exposition, interesting enough and clearly the author loves world building...I enjoyed the second half much more. I love the author's take on a 'spiritual' class of people and the powers they cultivate. There is not enough of that typically in science fiction so I love what L.A.Di Paolo did with his unique sister shamans and the king
