Author Information

Plessi (born in 1940) lives in Venice and Mallorca. Since 1968 water is the primary leitmotif of his work, which includes installations, films, videos and performances. Garnering international acclaim with the documenta 8 in Kassel (1987), he has had many international exhibitions and won many awards. Thomas Elsen is the director of the Art Collections Augsburg (Städtische Kunstsammlungen Augsburg), Germany.
