Author Information

Stephen Ripley was born in the United Kingdom. He trained as an actor/dramatist at Bretton Hall College, and worked in educational theatre devising, directing and performing in plays for primary school children. His first play, The Fisherman and His Soul, toured over 300 schools. Stephen has worked in film and television, and his books in the IMAGES series are collections of original abstract paintings and images. In 2014 he published his first book of poetry, Buffalo Dreams, revealing a deeply personal view of life, experience and hope for the human condition. Exile of the Mind is a selection of artistic work to date, and includes abstract art, images and sculpture. Stephen has a workshop in France where he creates sculpture and 3D images, and a home in the UK.
