Author Information

James Stevens Curl is Professor of Architectural History at De Montfort University, Leicester. He is the author of many highly acclaimed books including The English Heritage Book of Victorian Churches [1995], Egyptomania [1994], A Celebration of Death [1980], Classical Architecture [1992], and The Art and Architecture of Freemasonry [1991], which won the 1991 Sir Banister Fletcher Prize.
