OverviewElectric Circuits for Engineering and Technology: A Student-Centered Approach provides readers with foundational knowledge on the analysis and simulation of electric circuits. Developed to support a single-semester course, this concise book examines DC and AC circuits, equipping students with an understanding of fundamental concepts and engaging real-world application examples. The text examines crucial topics such as resistance, circuit laws, application-focused analysis techniques, inductance, capacitance, impedance, phasor domain analysis of AC circuits, and AC power analysis. Concepts are clarified using examples from daily life and industrial applications, such as DC power management in modern smartphones and AC power grid architecture, bridging the gap between theory and practice. The text features numerous solved example problems, LTspice simulations in every chapter to assist with circuit analysis and design, and end-of-chapter problems. Selected answers to the problems appear in an appendix for student practice and confidence building. Electric Circuits for Engineering and Technology is an ideal resource for undergraduates majoring in any branch of engineering or engineering technology. The content in the text is accessible to students with various levels of mathematical preparation.
