Overview

Unknownst to the general public vampires are rampant in Tokyo. To control and contain them, the government has developed a program to track and treat rogue vamps who decide to pray on the public. But what happens when vampire and man come together in harmony and love? Will the public accept this or will they try to tear such partnerships apart. Ishimaru tries to bring in Zero Seven and Nine to get inside info on the CCC. In exchange for her cooperation, Zero Seven asks for information on the devil that murdered her mother, and the fateful meeting between Seven and Kikuhara is revealed. The house of an activist for devil rights is set on fire, and at the scene, Kikuhara pushes Anzai to remember his past...

Author Information

Ryo Hanada (June 15, 1987) is one of the rising stars of Japanese comics today. Winner of SquareEnix's 2012 Young GanGan Manga Award's Special Prize for her submission BLIND, she quickly caught the attention of bigger publishers. After a couple of years in self-publishing, in 2013 she made her professional debut with Kodansha's premiere manga magazine MORNING (publishers of mega-hits such as Chi's Sweet Home, Drops of God, Vagabond). Her first work for them was Devils' Line, which is already captivating audiences with its stunning artwork and interesting mix of the supernatural and modern-day espionage.
