What a fun book! My 5-year old daughter's favorite part is the back where they have the actual pictures of the family members. She can't wait to name them all. Love that there's an activity page this time! She asks for this book to be read to her every night. I'm looking forward to the next one already!


Author Information

Author Shirley Zinda Sunset lives in Vancouver, Washington with her husband. She has 2 great kids and 2 grandkids. During her childhood, the Zindas moved many times in Oregon, some of the places include: Sweet Home, Tillamook, Dallas, McMinnville and Portland. Shirley is enjoying retirement while writing books that document history about her large family. She is a retired screenprinter. Illustrator April Sunset is owner of a small Creative Agency in Washington, doing graphic and web design, copywriting and marketing for some amazing clients. She has held many corporate gigs in the advertising industry in the past, including, Associate Creative Director at Mervyn's headquarters in the Bay Area. She loves what she does, especially fun projects like these where she gets to breaks out the paper and paintbrushes, old-school style, illustrating childrens' books!
