Overview

In this paper we make a compilation of Criminal Policy Plans against trafficking in human beings at national, European and international level. We also reflect the implementation of anti-trafficking actions in the global situation of COVID-19. The action plans we analyzed as criminal policy, implement a multidisciplinary and preventive approach, acting on the root causes of organized crime. However, we believe that guidelines should be included that also call for crime prevention in all social and economic programs and policies, including employment, education, health, housing, poverty, social marginalization and exclusion. We are of the opinion that the fight against human trafficking requires the involvement of a wide range of local, national and international institutions, both state and non-state.
