OverviewIn the future - the exact date of which remains unspecified, a granddaughter pays weekly visits to her Gran. The world they live in is very different to the one we know at the moment. Due to overpopulation, the decision has been made to erase all the seas and oceans. The surplus of people are now able to live on the reclaimed land. The grandmother remembers the sea, the grandchild does not. Together, they ponder on all sorts of subjects: both serious and silly. As a reader, one can witness the weekly visits as a dialogue. The work can be interpreted in many different ways, therefore the reader has been given enough space and blank pages to fill with their own musings.
