Gregory Schufreider Director of Philosophy and Graduate Studies B.A. Northwestern University (1969); M.A., Ph.D. University of California, Santa Barbara (1975). gschufr@lsu.edu He teaches primarily in areas of the History of Philosophy, Recent Continental Philosophy and the Philosophy of Art. He also teaches courses in the philosophy of film. His research has centered especially on Heidegger and he is at work on a book-length study of his thought.
