The textbook Comprehensive University Chemistry contains all the thematic areas in Chemistry. This includes Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Quantum Chemistry, Statistical Thermodynamics and Organic Chemistry. Fundamental topics in all these thematic areas have been covered extensively. The principles and concepts have been explained with clarity. Those topics which depend heavily on mathematics have been simplified and discussed in detail showing in a stepewise fashion the mathematical derivations. This approach is deliberate on the part of the author having taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in the university for over three decades, to enable the student to do self-study with minimal supervision. The text book can also be used as a reference text.
