Some lovely twists and a satisfying ending that makes me want to read the next in the series. A poignant tale that transcends time. The writing is beautiful, descriptive and lyrical, and the dialogue and problems surrounding the hippy culture are realistic and well researched. Annie's character development, plot and location are immaculately researched as always, producing a story that is easily pictured in your mind's eye. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
