OverviewChildren of the Moirai follows the First Daughters of the current generation of Moirai-Cleo, Lacy, and Margot. Born into an ancient bloodline tied to the fate of humanity itself, the three sisters inherit the sacred roles once held by the original Moirai: Clotho, creator of life's thread; Lachesis, teller of each life's story; and Atropos, the one who severs the thread at death. Long ago, the original Moirai wielded complete control over the lives they created. But it was believed that a mysterious curse had fallen upon their bloodline and that their power had been lost. Generation after generation, the daughters of the Moirai continued their duties without truly controlling the lives they guided. Only the First Daughters of each generation inherited fragments of the original gifts-and even those gifts became weaker, stranger, and increasingly unpredictable over time. Now, for the first time in history, something has changed. Cleo creates books of life in her sleep, unable to control when they appear. Lacy possesses unnatural features that no Lachesis has ever carried before-fiery orange hair and haunting green eyes. Margot, the Atropos of her generation, is the first left-handed fate ever born. As terrifying visions, impossible books, and shared dreams begin to consume them, the sisters realize the ancient curse may be evolving into something far worse. Haunted by dreams of a mysterious blue-eyed boy, endless fields of blue flowers, the destruction of their home, and countless books demanding to be brought to life, Cleo, Lacy, and Margot must uncover the truth about their bloodline before the curse destroys them all. Because if Cleo cannot regain control of the books of life... the books may consume her first.
