Author Information

Cat cartoonist and author Morgan Detyens writes fiction in Idaho, where she lives with her husband, son, three cats, and a big hairy dog (who LOVES cheese!). She holds Bachelors of Arts degrees in Anthropology and Graphic Design from Boise State University. Her works of fiction include: Secret of the Dragon Blood Ruby; The Nine Lives of Shaidu the Warrior Cat, and The Dreaming Hour, an illustrated children's collection of short stories and verse. When not writing, she enjoys researching her Dutch ancestors and volunteering for Moonsong Malamute Rescue, a non-profit organization that saves Arctic dog breeds from kill shelters and puppy mills in the NW.
