Author Information

Xanna is a writer and editor with more than 15 years' experience working in publishing. She has worked across all platforms, including books, magazines, part works, CD-ROMs, games, audio scripts, eBooks and apps. Xanna has spent much of her career within the children's market, but she also writes, edits and develops material for general readership including Nickelodeon and Dr. Who. Angela Hewitt is one of those rare adults who has kept her vivid, childlike imagination, and this is reflected in her illustrations. Largely self-taught in illustration, she has been drawing since a young age, and with the support of her mum eventually made art her dream career. She loves a good book shop and can spend hours browsing the shelves - children's books being her favourite!
