She credits much of her writing style to her studies at the acclaimed Chicago Writer's Loft, along with the endless days spent in the village bookstore of her childhood hometown. An advocate for young writers and artists of all kinds, JD lives and works northwest of Chicago, Illinois with her husband, kids and cats. Anna Stileski is currently earning a Masters in Publishing from Western Colorado University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with minors in Global Studies and German Language and Literature from Wayne State University. Aside from being the publisher at Bow's Bookshelf, she does freelance editing and teaches special education and English classes as a substitute teacher.
