Overview

Are you about to graduate from university or high school? Are you currently unemployed or underemployed? This is a voyage of self-discovery that starts with discussing some of the basics of what we know about branding and marketing and turning these ideas on to you, as though YOU are the brand. The book evolves into allowing you to learn how to properly prepare for job interviews and promote your personal brand for these opportunities. A unique feature of this book is that it is built on the idea that as you read, you will also work. This book is two parts inspiration to one part perspiration. Within and primarily at the end of most of the chapters are a series of exercises that will help you think about, further prepare, and continually improve your personal brand. Simply put, by reading and working with the exercises, you will be better prepared to meet the challenges that await a brand called YOU.
