Author Information

KIM HARVEY BRANNAN was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where she currently resides. She is the author of Quiet Conversations: What God Wants You to Know About Him, a non-fiction Christian book published in 2022.Bird Weddings is Brannan's debut book in the genre of children's literature. The story is based upon an activity she enjoyed with her three children when they were young-watching birds high on the wires as they rode in the car to run errands. She has always been passionate about education and believes one of the greatest gifts she and her late husband gave to their children was to foster the love of reading. It is especially meaningful that Brannan worked with her son Mark Harvey Brannan, as he served as Editor of Bird Weddings. CLAUDIA ZAVALA is a Chilean illustrator and creative director in animation, celebrated for her vibrant and detailed style that draws inspiration from her Latin American heritage. Her work is rooted in a rich appreciation for nature, education, science, and culture, themes that frequently appear across her projects. Claudia's distinctive style captures the energy and diversity of her roots, bringing warmth, color, and intricate detail to every piece.
