Author Information

Peter Smith has been a professional programmer for over 20 years. His first real computer was a Sinclair ZX80 which he soldered together himself. Since then he's worked on distributed logic simulators, advanced interactive statistical programs, and more. He's currently working at Microsoft where he helped create the HttpClient and Socket APIs for WinRT. The BASIC programming language for his Best Calculator app is a labor of love.
