Her Excellency Queen Mother Ratna Prava Devi is wife of Late King Shankar Pratap Singh Deo and princess of Sareikala Kharsuan Kingdom. She was a member of Odisha Legislative Assembly from 1956-1971. She was also the first female scout of Odisha who travelled across the world with her children. She was a symbol of courage, valor and compassion. A strong devotee of lord, she was instrumental in bringing many radical reforms in the state of Dhenkanal as well as in Odisha. This is her autobiography and a commentary on socio-political history of Odisha spreading her lifetime. Dr. Tapan K Panda is a well-known management academic and creative writer. He has published more than 20 books on various disciplines of management. His literary work in English includes Naxalite & Other Stories (short story collection); As the Years Go By (anthology of poems); Kabita Pari Kichhi Kicchi & Lal Swapna (Odia poetry collection). He has translated many Odia short stories into English and published in leading magazines of India. His translation work includes Don't Wash Your Wound with Blood (Selected poems of Rumi), The Infidel; Arch of Fire and The Actor. Dr. Julie Mishra is PhD in Political Science and teaches at Indira Gandhi Women's College, Cuttack.
