OverviewCoral Chen is an artist and author from China. After she received her BFA from Huibei, China, she worked at a publishing company as a book cover designer. Coral's artwork rose to prominency in 1994, when the University of Michigan hosted a personal art exhibition for her. As an experienced teacher of various art forms, Coral has worked with an extensive network of students throughout the USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vancouver and Prince George. She has also published several children books as an author and illustrator in Hong Kong and China. Currently, she teaches Chinese Ink Painting at the Two River Art Gallery and at her own studio in Prince George, BC, Canada.
