Author Information

Dr Marion McGarry has been a lecturer since 2004 at the National Centre of Excellence for Furniture Design and Manufacture, Galway Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) in Ireland. Prior to this she worked in furniture design in Ireland and the UK for a decade. She has a Master's degree in History of Art and Architecture and a PhD specialising in Irish heritage architecture and cultural identity.
