AMP Up With The Animals is a series of exercises and lesson plans for parents to use with children who have been diagnosed with symptoms of Autism, ADD, Asperger's Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), and speech-language disorders that effect their learning. Each of the ten chapters in this series focuses on one animal or creature. Parent and child together watch the DVD (available separately) of each animal and the Brain Engineer dancers who act out the animal's movements to original music with charming lyrics. The book includes many photos of children imitating the animals' movements, and follow-up exercises and activities to reinforce the Brain AMP training goal for each chapter and each animal. Explanations of the science behind each brain engineering exercise are provided for parents.
