Author Information

Stan “The Man” Lee co-created of majority of the most well-known Marvel super heroes. His pulse-pounding stories and bombastic dialogue set him apart from other writers. In later years, he became the “King of Cameos,” appearing in nearly every blockbuster Marvel feature film! John Romita began illustrating Amazing Spider-Man comics after the departure of Steve Ditko, breathing new life into the character in a way that permeated through every other Marvel title. His style was adopted as the Marvel house style. His son, John Romita, Jr., continues his father’s legacy as Spider-Man artist to this day.
