Kevin Collins was born in Oklahoma City but now resides in Kaplan, Louisiana. He has lived in Tucumcari, New Mexico, where he found a passion for Mexican culture, its people and also their cuisine and also a love of the desert. He lived in Dalhart, Texas in the north Panhandle where he found his Texas side. He now resides in the Deep South, in the marshes and bayous of Louisiana and has married into and found a deep affection for the Cajun culture and their cooking. He has been an avid photographer for twenty years. this is his first published novel with another in the works.
