Author Information

Tréci Marlene Collender is a mother of 3 now grown girls. She has been composing poetry for as long as she could write. She also owns her own entertainment business providing professional face-painting, balloons, and other activities for children of all ages. As Princess the Clown, her mission is making kids smile! She always dreamed of making her mom's story of the tiny tiger come to life in a children's book. She hopes to see Alfred bring joy and inspiration to many children, just as her mom would have wanted. Mairi Layne Collender is Tréci's oldest daughter. She is a writer and artist. She illustrated the Alfred story in 2005 when she was 14 years old. She now creates portraits, illustrations, and has a novel in the works.
