Overview

How to Use this Math & Colouring Resource Book: The following holidays have been included in this book: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Hannukah, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, St.Patrick's Day, Easter, and Eid. Answer the math questions in each image. Match the solutions with the answer key to determine which colour should be used to fill in each section. Questions involve addition and subtraction of numbers between 0 and 20. The questions become more difficult as the seasons progress through the school year. At the end of the book, there are blank copies of each holiday sheet provided. These can be used to create your own Colour by Number sheet! Or let your students create their own! A great resource to adapt to each child's learning needs. The Art of Math program strives to foster imagination and creativity while also devloping a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. Creating opportunities for students to explore mathematical and visual concepts together allows them to adapt and transfer their knowledge into different contexts. We hope that this resource provides a fun way to integrate math into each holiday season while allowing students to be creative with their use of value in shading and colouring the pages.
