Mary grew up in the west and loves all things western. Her parent's storytelling gift inspired her to share fun stories about the west along with many life lessons. One of her favorites is about the Jingle Horse which inspired this story. The rhyming, authentic verbiage makes her stories family favorites. Her hope is to entertain and inspire readers all over the world about horses and the western lifestyle. Roslan attends the University of Wyoming where she is studying to be an elementary art teacher. Her gift of art crosses many places! The watercolor illustrations in the Thunder books are bold, colorful and very popular! The horses she paints in the stories are exact replicas of the horses she has loved, including their facial expressions and personalities. Being a cowgirl and an artist is what she does best. Ashley is a Doer, a Dentist, and a purveyor of all things Denim. Hints the name of her equine dental business, 'Denim Dentistry.' Ashley is a real-life tooth fairy, but for horses! She comes from a long lineage of agriculturalists and considers herself an advocate of the western lifestyle. She graduated college with two degrees, a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Missouri Southern State University and a Bachelor's in Bi-Vocational Ministry from Ozark Christian College. She also has a Master's of Science in Agriculture degree from Sam Houston State University. Ashley continuously works towards advancing the industry of equine dentistry with scientific studies and published findings.
