Overview

This is the first linguistic resource of its kind. The innovation of this study is its comparison of the lexicons of all Spanish-speaking countries. It includes English translations and Spanish definitions. This resource is useful for looking up the various translations of words that are used in specific Spanish-speaking countries. This reference guide will help to eliminate certain words that may be acceptable in one cultural context, but not in another. Because of the many Spanish dialects that have come to the Unites States, one must be sensitive to linguistical differences in order to communicate with all Latino communities. These publications can include commercials (radio, television, and internet, print), articles and stories in news papers, magazines and books.
