He prefers to use his middle name - Paul. He holds a bachelor's degree in MIS and a master's degree in Educational Computing. He and Carla, his wife of thirty-nine years, came to Buffalo thirty-five years ago so he could get his bachelor's degree; they liked the area so much they decided to stay for a while. Their daughter, Collett, also lives in the area, and recently graduated from Buffalo State College with her master's in Education. Paul wrote this book using the journal he wrote during his ride .
