કવિતા કે ગઝલ એ માત્ર શબ્દોની ગોઠવણી નથી, પણ હૃદયના ઊંડાણમાંથી વહેતી સંવેદનાની સરવાણી છે. આ 'જીવન છે મંથન' પુસ્તકમાં મેં મારા જીવનના વિવિધ પડાવો પર અનુભવેલી લાગણીઓને વાચા આપવાનો નમ્ર પ્રયાસ કર્યો છે. ક્યારેક એકલતાના અંધકારમાં જન્મેલી પંક્તિઓ હોય, તો ક્યારેક હર્ષના અતિરેકમાં છલકાયેલી ગઝલ... આ બધું જ અહીં અકબંધ છે. ગઝલના શેર લખતી વખતે છંદ અને લયની સાથે ભાવની સચ્ચાઈ જાળવવી એ મારા માટે એક તપસ્યા સમાન રહ્યું છે. મારા આ શબ્દો જો તમારા દિલના કોઈ ખૂણે સ્પર્શી જશે, તો મારો આ પરિશ્રમ સાર્થક થયો ગણીશ. આ સફરમાં મને પ્રોત્સાહન આપનાર મારા પરિવાર અને મિત્રોનો હું હૃદયપૂર્વક આભાર માનું છું.
